Skill Development & Employment Generation – Internship
We conduct internship programs to provide hands-on work experience to our visually challenged friends.

We assess their skill sets, identify their areas of improvement and arrange training for computer, braille, mobility, communication as per their requirements.

Our aim is to make our students employable through comprehensive skill development and capacity building programs.
English Speaking Classes
At the core of our initiatives lies a comprehensive English speaking program designed to bridge communication gaps and empower individuals with the confidence to express themselves. Our team of dedicated volunteers brings passion to the forefront, ensuring that each child is equipped with the skills to navigate the competitive world we live in.

The structured curriculum caters to learners of all ages, creating an environment that encourages active participation and cultural exchange.
Geography Classes
Breaking down barriers, our NGO is redefining the way geography is taught by introducing innovative Teaching Learning Materials (TLM) that are specifically designed for the visually impaired.

These materials not only make geography accessible but also enhance the understanding of spatial concepts. Through tactile maps, 3D models, and engaging audio descriptions, our students embark on a journey through the world, discovering diverse landscapes and cultures without limitations.
Audio Library
Audio Library is a project initiated by our teammates – Abhay Patil, Vyankatesh Parab, and Shubham Mahajan in 2017. The main aim of this project is to ensure that every visually challenged person has access to books they wish to read. The intention behind the Audio Library is not only to create study material but also to open the windows of knowledge for visually challenged friends in all parts of life. Sighted volunteers from varied walks of life choose a book to be read from our repository, post which it is delivered to them. The volunteers, with absolute sincerity and patience, read and record the entire book. The final recording is then uploaded on our database after editing. Over the years, the scope of the Audio Library project has expanded from curriculum based study material to novels, biographies, poems, reference books and more. The AL team continues to pursue greater heights with the active encouragement and participation from the visually challenged friends and volunteers involved in the process.
Braille Classes
Our Braille classes reflect our sincere attempt at promoting braille literacy. Through this initiative, we cater to inquisitive learners of diverse backgrounds ranging from those who have recently lost their sight or individuals seeking to relearn Braille, to our curious sighted friends.

We envision to make a Braille not just a language of communication but also a bridge of understanding between the visually challenged and their peers.

We organize cultural events to create a platform for our Visually Challenged artists to showcase their art & skills and to appreciate the efforts of our volunteers.

The Lantern – be a Light

‘The Lantern – Be a Light’ is an annual event organized by Team Vision Foundation. It originated from a desire to express gratitude towards volunteers who support visually challenged students. The event showcases the artistic talents of visually challenged students, providing them with a platform to perform and entertain the volunteers.

Vision Day

Every year on the occasion of Vision Day – foundation day July 14, we take a pause for a while to reflect on the journey of Team Vision Foundation. We invite eminent speakers to have an interactive session with the visually challenged, to learn about their life journey and seek guidance to build the path ahead for Team Vision Foundation. We celebrate the day with engaging games where visually challenged and sighted volunteers play together and have fun on the dance floor.

Blindness Sensitization Workshop

The Blindness Sensitization workshop is our earnest attempt at promoting inclusivity and creating awareness about the challenges faced by people who are visually challenged.

Through our meticulously created workshop modules, we work towards giving the participants an immersive experience of the world of the visually challenged. We also encourage them to practice inclusion and take a step ahead to assist them wherever required.
